Odisha: Class XI Student Stabbed For Resisting Cellphone Snatching Bid In Keonjhar

Keonjhar: In a shocking incident, a Class XI student was stabbed with a knife by a miscreant near Joda bus stand for resisting mobile phone snatching bid here today morning.

The victim Oshnand was on his way to school and was waiting for the bus when a miscreant approached him and tried to snatch his cellphone away. Oshnand resisted the bid and in fit of rage, the miscreant stabbed him. After sustaining critical injuries on his back and ear, Oshanand was rescued by locals and rushed to Tata Steel Hospital in critical condition.

On intimation, cops reached the spot and took stock of the situation, While further investigation into the matter is currently underway, it is disheartening to know that a boy who was on his way to school, ended up in hospital.
