Odisha: CESU Employee’s House Robbed In Dhenkanal

Dhenkanal: Some armed miscreants looted Rs 3.5 lakh cash and gold ornaments from a CESU employee’s house at Pandua under Tumusinga police limits here late last night.

Reportedly, the five masked men broke into Manoj Sahu’s house at around 10 pm in the night and brandished sharp weapons on the family members. They decamped with cash and also looted 13 grams of gold ornaments. According to sources, the miscreants were waiting in the backyard and were anxious to strike.

On intimation, cops reached the spot and initiated investigation into the matter. Manoj, who had sustained grievous injuries, is currently undergoing treatment and cops have launched a manhunt to nab the criminals.
