Odisha: Bus Carrying Marriage Party Overturns In Ganjam, 25 Injured

Ganjam: In a wedding nightmare, more than 25 persons sustained injuries after a vehicle carrying marriage party overturned near Kalinga ghat in Andharikoti area here early today morning.

Reportedly, groom Saroj Kumar Das (30) was set to get married in Aska, Ganjam. He was traveling along with his family members from Rourkela to Aska when the incident took place. There were around 40-50 persons on-board the bus and the driver lost control over the wheels near Kalinga Ghat.

While all the injured passengers were rushed to Bhanjanagar hospital, five critically injured persons were admitted to MKCG Medical College and Hospital. According to sources, a woman’s hand has been severed in the road mishap.
