Boudh: In an unfortunate incident, one person was killed and two others were critically injured in a road mishap near Radhanagar late last night.

The deceased has been identified as Manaranjan Mallik, who was the deputy director of Agriculture department in Boudh.

The incident occurred late last night when he was returning to Boudh from Bhubaneswar after attending to some work. One of the wheels of the SUV car burst as a result of which the car he was traveling in overturned on NH-57 killing Manaranjan on the spot.

On the other hand, driver Harishankar Padhi and peon Chakradhar Patra were first rushed to Boudh Community Health Centre (CHC) and were later shifted to VIMSAR hospital in Burla when their condition worsened.

On intimation, cops reached the spot and began a probe into the matter.
