Odisha: Botany Teacher Under Vigilance Scanner In Disproportionate Assets Case

Balasore: Odisha Vigilance on Friday conducted simultaneous raids at four places including the residence of a Botany teacher of Talanagar College in connection with alleged disproportionate assets to his known sources of income.

A 5-member vigilance team conducted simultaneous raids on Ramchandra Upadhyay’s residence at Asimila in Bahanaga block and two other buildings near Talanagar college square.

Rs 3 lakh cash, gold and silver ornaments have already been seized from his house. The exact amount of disproportionate wealth will be ascertained after the raids are over, informed officials.
