Berhampur: 1481 kilometers, 14 districts and 5 states. A cancer awareness Cycle Expedition was flagged off today by Bollywood actress and cancer survivor Manisha Koirala, that began from Gopalpur and is all set to end in Pune.

Manisha Koirala said, “Today, I flagged off this cancer awareness Cyclothon to make people aware of their health and go for regular checkup. Our message is that cancer is treatable and curable if it is detected in early stages. So, if you notice any abnormalities in your body, then please get a check-up done as soon as possible. Also, maintain a healthy lifestyle to avoid any health problems.”

Organised by Grameen Sneh Foundation, the journey of the participants in ‘Hausla Cancer Awareness’ cycle expedition will end in Pune after touching points at Srikakulam, Hyderabad, Osmanabad, and other cities. The program has also been sponsored by ONGC and MCL.

Meanwhile, Koirala thanked all her Odisha fans for their undying love and support. “I do not have words to express the love that I have received here. This is just the start and we all have a long way to go.”
