Bhubaneswar: As per the directions set by BJD supremo and Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik for receiving the opinion boxes from the 86 lakh families in the State for incorporating the inputs in the party manifesto, the ruling party's office today received the suggestion forms of ‘Ghare Ghare Sankha’ from Mayurbhanj.

The programme that was kickstarted on March 5 this year aimed at collecting people's opinions from the ground level and incorporating them in the party's manifesto before the polls. Informing media, Biju Mahila Janata Dal president Minati Behera said, “The vital duty has been entrusted with women and accordingly they have reached every door in Mayurbhanj district. They have disseminated the message of our Chief Minister at every household and have gathered their opinions.”

Forms with the slogan ‘matamata diyanti apana, palana karanti Naveen’ (You Opine, Naveen Obeys) was sent to all assembly constituencies, all villages and all households.

“Whatever opinions have come, they will be analysed and accepted by the Manifesto Committee. Finally, our party manifesto will be published after our party president accords his seal of approval,” stated party leader Sulochana Das.

"These opinions will not only get place in the manifesto but will also be worked upon. These will not just stay on paper, it will see the light of the day because our CM does what he says," she concluded.
