Odisha: Balasore Woman Attempts Suicide By Jumping In Front Of Express Train, Critical

Balasore: In a shocking incident, a woman attempted suicide in Sabira Railway Station under Soro limits here today morning as she jumped before an express train and critically injured herself.  

The woman has been identified as Ghanabati Jena of Sabira village. 

Reportedly, she managed to reach the station and jumped before the Gurudev Superfast Express in an attempt to take her life. Locals rescued her in critical condition and she has been shifted to SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack for treatment. 

She has received severe head and leg injury and is currently critical and undergoing treatment.
