Odisha Bags Most Improved Big State For Cleanliness Award

Bhubaneswar: Odisha has been awarded with ‘Most improved big State for cleanliness’ by India Today Group.

On behalf of Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, Housing and Urban Development Minister, Pratap Jena received the Award from Union Minister for Environment, Forest and Climate Changes, Prakash Javedkar, in India Today State of the States Conclave 2019,  held at New Delhi on Friday.

Speaking on the occasion Jena said, “Under the visionary leadership of our Chief Minister, Odisha is on the fast pace of inclusive growth and development setting National and Global benchmarks for others to emulate.”

“We are humbled by this recognisation, which adds another feather to our cap. we will be further encouraged to strive hard to create a clean, green and beautiful new Odisha,” he added.
