Bhubaneswar: Senior BJD leader and member of Lok Sabha from Aska parliamentary constituency Ladu Kishore Swain breathed his last at a private hospital in Bhubaneswar on Wednesday.
Swain (71) was reportedly suffering from kidney related ailments.
Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has condoled his death and conveyed his deep sympathy to the bereaved family. He described Swain as an able parliamentarian who had also served as a member of State legislature.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Ram Nath Kovind also took to twitter expressing their anguish on the demise of Swain and also expressed condolences to his family.
