Odisha: Armed Men Shoot At Liquor Shop Manager In Bolangir, Loot Rs 3 Lakh

Bolangir: In a case of daylight robbery, some unidentified armed miscreants allegedly opened fire at the manager of a liquor shop near Gandatarapalli square under Saintala police limits here today afternoon and looted Rs 3.06 lakh from him.

Reportedly, the victim Narendra Gupta and his friend Gautam Brahma were enroute Titlagarh from Saintala carrying the cash, when three miscreants intercepted their way. The robbers fired at Gupta’s left leg and decamped with the money. After the incident, Gupta was rushed to Saintala hospital in a critical condition.

On intimation, cops rushed to the spot and began a probe into the incident.
