Bhubaneswar: Odisha Government has been introducing various reforms to provide quality education. Various steps are also been taken for colleges to get the accreditation from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).

Higher Education Minister Arun Sahoo while attending a meeting of NAAC authorities and Vice-Chancellors of various universities on Thursday asked the institutions to fulfill the criteria to get the NAAC accreditation.

He said that a target has been set to get NAAC accreditation for all higher education institutions in Odisha by 2022 and sought the support of all universities and colleges for this purpose.

Sahoo asserted that an Internal Quality Assurance Cell will be established in every college and university. The Cell will produce all documents required for NAAC accreditation. Besides, workshops are being organised under jurisdiction of each Regional Director of Higher Education and a master database is being prepared.

On this occasion, NAAC authorities gave some suggestions to streamline the process of getting the accreditation.
