Bhubaneswar: The football fever is at an all-time high in Bhubaneswar, as Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan is in town to support his team Chennayin FC in its final clash with Goa FC marking the end of Indian Super League (ISL).

After arriving in Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) at around 12 pm, he said, “I am super excited to be here and I am proud of the boys. We did not have the ideal season in ISL, but we have reached the finals with intent and determination. I am very happy for the team and the coach John Gregory, but I am happiest for fans who supported us through everything.”

Following that, he immediately headed for Kalinga Stadium but before leaving he said, “I appeal to the people to come out in large numbers to cast votes in the elections.”

It is notable to mention here that Chennai and Goa have gone head-on 13 times out of which both the parties have won 6 times each and there has been one draw.
