Odisha: Abandoned Newborn Boy Rescued From Roadside In Kendrapara

Kendrapara: In a shocking incident, a newborn boy was found abandoned in the roadside at Ramnagar area under Gulnagar gram panchayat here today. The newborn was rescued by Child Welfare Committee (CWC) officials early in the morning.

Reportedly, the locals heard the cry of a baby when they were passing by the road. On searching the area, they found a baby dumped amidst bushes. The locals immediately informed CWC officials, who rushed to the spot and rescued the baby.

While locals have stated that they noticed injury marks on the baby's body, he is currently being treated at Kendrapara District Headquarters Hospital (DHH).
