Odisha: 75% Attendance Mandatory For College Students To Appear Annual Exam

Bhubaneswar: College students in Odisha having less than 75% attendance will be henceforth barred from appearing annual examinations.

Higher Education Secretary Saswat Mishra has issued a circular to principals of all government, private and grant-in-aid colleges in this regard.

The circular vide no. 13559/HE further says that students having less than 75% attendance will be required to attend extra classes to become eligible to appear in the annual examinations.

The Higher Education Secretary has also directed the principals of all colleges to sensitize students on this account well in advance before the commencement of annual examinations.
