Odisha: 60 Lakh Farmers Apply For KALIA In 1st Phase

Bhubaneswar: During the 1st phase of KALIA scheme, more than 60 lakh green forms have been collected. Dedicated teams have been engaged to do the data entry for the forms collected. This work is being carried out in each block of the State, Cooperation Department Secretary, Dr Krishan Kumar said.

So far, one lakh farmers have filled the red forms, to voluntarily opt out of the scheme. “The objections, suo-motto deletion and final selection will be completed soon. The final list for the first phase of the beneficiaries will be released by January 22," Dr Kumar said.

The farmers who are missed out in the first phase can apply for enrolling into the scheme in the second and third phases. The second phase of enrollment will be carried out between January 25 and February 5 and the third phase in March, added Kumar
