Odisha: 48 Of 51 Fresh COVID-19 Cases Were Returnees & In Quarantine Centres

Bhubaneswar: Of the 65 cases of COVID-19 that were detected today, 11 belong to Nayagarh district and the rest are spread over in Ganjam, Jajpur, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Angul, Kalahandi, Sambalpur and Mayurbhanj districts. While 48 were in quarantine centres and three are locals who contracted the deadly novel coronavirus.

The I & PR Department took to Twitter to put forth district-wise distribution and their status.

11 in Kalahandi (reported last night): 10 in quarantine centres. 8 Maharashtra, 1 Chhattisgarh & 1 Gujarat returnees. 1 local case

11 in Nayagarh: All in quarantine centres. Surat returnees

9 in Cuttack: All in quarantine centres. Telangana returnees

5 in Jajpur: All in quarantine centres. Tamil Nadu returnees

4 in Ganjam: 3 in quarantine centres. Surat returnees & 1 local case

3 in Mayurbhanj: All in quarantine centres. Andhra Pradesh returnees

2 in Sambalpur: 1 in quarantine centre, West Bengal returnee. 1 local case

2 in Jagatsinghpur: All in quarantine centres. Maharashtra returnees

2 in Angul: All in quarantine centres. 1 returnee each from Tamil Nadu & Andhra Pradesh

1 in Puri: In quarantine centre. West Bengal returnee

1 in Malkangiri: In quarantine centre. Tamil Nadu returnee
