Bhubaneswar: The results of Annual Examinations-2019 of +2 Arts, Commerce and Vocational conducted under the aegis of Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) were formally announced by Odisha School & Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash at Gita Govinda Bhawan here today afternoon.

Declaring the results, the Minister said, “In Arts, 2,31,150 students had appeared the exams while 1,92, 323 examinees have passed. The pass percentage is 65.89.”

He informed:

“Out of them, 57,442 boys (55.80%) and 94,881 girls (73.99%) have passed. 18, 773 students have passed in the First Division, 22,944 students have passed in the Second Division and 1,10.451 students have passed in the Third Division.”

“Balasore district has recorded the highest pass percentage (75.67%) while Nabarangpur district has the lowest pass percentage (47.46%).”

“In Commerce stream, 26,794 students had appeared while 18,826 have passed. The pass percentage is 70.26. Out of the passed students, 11,738 boys (67.91%) and 7088 girls (74.52%).”

“In this stream, 5,629 students have passed in the First Division while 3,746 students have passed in the Second Division and 9,422 students gave passed in the Third Division.”

“In Commerce, Khurda district has recorded the highest pass percentage (89%) and Deogarh district has recorded the lowest pass percentage of (24.34%).”

“In Vocational Courses, total 7,840 students had taken the exams. 4,126 examinees have passed (52.62%). 1,982 boys have passed (47.92%) while the number girls passed are 2,144 (57.86%). While 544 have passed in the First Division, 1,707 have passed in the Second Division and 1,714 have passed in the Third division. Balasore district has recorded highest pass percentage (74.34%) and Nabarangpur district has recorded the lowest pass percentage (8.33%).”

“In Nil Result category there are two colleges in Arts stream, one each from Jajpur and Khurda district. Number students in the two colleges are 15 and 14 respectively.”

“In Commerce, there are four colleges having Zero Result. Gopalpur based Higher Secondary School (only 5 students), Rambha Higher Secondary (only 4 students), KP Science Higher Secondary (only 3 students) in Ganjam district and Shyamaprasad in Malkangiri (only single student).”
