Rayagada: A 12-feet long king cobra was rescued from the house of an Anganwadi worker at Seshakhal in Rayagada district on Wednesday.

Reportedly, the reptile had entered the house of Anganwadi worker Usha Das at around 8 AM today and had settled itself in the kitchen.

After four hours an auto-rickshaw driver came to the rescue of the snake and released it in a nearby forest in presence of forest department officials.
