No Increase In COVID-19 Positive Cases In Odisha In Last 24 Hrs

Bhubaneswar: As many as 67 samples of coronavirus(COVID-19) suspects out of 70 tested by noon today in the State have tested negative, two have been found to be positive and report of one is awaited, informed Chief spokesperson of Odisha government on COVID-19 Subroto Bagchi.

Addressing the scheduled presser regarding issues relating to preparedness, awareness along with vigilance and monitoring of COVID-19 at Geeta Govinda Sadan here today, Bagchi stated that the health of the two COVID-19 positive patients is stable.

He said that communication has been made with 53 out of the 56 persons with whom the second COVID-19 patient had contact and added that an effort is on to communicate with the rest three persons.

Nine monitoring teams are working to communicate with the remaining three persons, he pointed out.

Giving details, Bagchi informed that 3,236 persons have been registered through 104 Helpline and added that 23 persons who had contact with COVID-19 affected patient are in hospital isolation.
