Bhubaneswar: Naba Kisore Das after taking the charge as Health & Family Welfare Minister visited his office on Friday and reviewed the condition of healthcare sector in the State.

After being apprised of the various policies and targets of the department by Commissioner-cum-Secretary Pramod Kumar Meherda, Das asked the officials to prepare a progressive policy to provide quality healthcare services to public and for development of infrastructure and human resources.

In this regard he set a 100-day target to provide better service to people starting from medical colleges to primary health centres, to fill vacant posts and create more doctors in Odisha.

Stating that emphasis will be given on resolving all the issues in the department, Das asked his officials to work together to keep the faith of people on the department.
