Necessary Precautions & Safety Measures Were Taken: Construction Firm At Bhubaneswar Airport

Bhubaneswar: Dillip Constructions, the firm engaged in construction work at the Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA), has made an official statement that they had taken necessary precautions and also made sure that their workers used proper safety gear.

The statement was made in view of the collapse of the under-construction link building at the Bhubaneswar airport.

Speaking on the unfortunate accident, an official of Dillip Constructions said, “The roof collapsed due to heavy load. The labourers were not at their work stations and were about to leave when the accident occurred. Moreover, we had taken all necessary precautions and safety measures.”

Additional CP Anup Sahoo added that they were looking into the matter and if they find any criminal negligence which led to this accident, then the Commissionerate Police would take necessary legal action.
