Sambalpur: Holding his final election campaign for Sambalpur parliamentary constituency, BJD supremo and Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik asserted again that no national party will gain majority this time while the regional parties will be king maker.

Addressing the voters at Kuchinda, the regional satrap said, “Not a single national party will get majority at the Centre for government formation while the regional parties will be the king maker (choose who will be the Prime Minister).”

Highlighting his Government’s achievements, he said, “40 lakh farmers have already benefited in the KALIA scheme but Centre is trying to stop it. No one can stop KALIA till I am here. After coming to power, BJD will give two installments worth Rs 10,000 to the farmers under this scheme. In Centre’s health scheme, women are getting only Rs 5 lakh benefits but in Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana, women are Rs 10 lakh benefits, which is double the amount. We will also give Rs 5000 crore business to women of Mission Shakti.”

In Khurda's Balipatana, he said, "You all know of religious-tourism, sports-tourism and eco-tourism. BJP leaders have started new 'Election-tourism."

He further said, “The big leaders of BJP come to Odisha only during elections for begging votes. Ask them where they were during Phailin, flood and drought? Where is the double MSP? They stopped the water flow of Mahanadi. Also stopped the scholarship for SC-ST students. Koshali language was not included in the 8th Schedule of Constitution.”

“I’m always with you and remain so ever. The interest of a common man is most significant for me. 4.5 crores people of Odisha are my family. I’ll keep on serving till my last breath. Bless me and cast vote for conch symbol,” the BJD supremo-cum-Odisha CM exhorted at both the places.

Naveen Patnaik finished the last leg of election campaign for third phase polls today afternoon after addressing public meetings at Sambalpur, Cuttack and Khordha. He also addressed a public meeting in Kendrapara, thus beginning campaign for fourth-phase polls. It is notable to mention here that the Lok Sabha seats of Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Sambalpur, Keonjhar, Dhenkanal and Puri will vote on April 23 (third phase).
