NALCO Donates 8 PCR Vans To Commissionerate Police

Bhubaneswar: National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO), the Navratna Central Public Sector Enterprise on Friday gifted eight police control room (PCR) vans to the Twin City Commissionerate Police at the latter’s head office here.

Twin City Police Commissioner Sudhansu Sarangi has thanked Nalco for their gesture.

"We have received eight PCR vans from Nalco as gift. We thank them for their cooperation. I would appeal to other industrial and business houses for similar gestures," stated Sarangi at the function held for induction of the new PCR vans.

Giving details of the PCR vans donated by Nalco earlier Sarangi said that the aluminium major has gifted eight in 2009, six in 2011, seven in 2012, two in 2015 and four in 2016.

The Police Commissioner informed that currently while 35 PCR vans are in operation in Bhubaneswar 21 are in operation in Cuttack.
