Bhubaneswar: Myanmar Beat Nepal 3-0 in the inaugural match of Hero Gold Cup at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar on Saturday.

Organized by All India Football Federation (AIFF) in association with Odisha Government, the Hero Gold Cup is a 4-Nation competition comprising of senior women's national teams of Myanmar, Iran and Nepal and host India.

With each team facing each other on February 9, 11 and 13, a face-off between two top teams will be witnessed in the Finals on February 15. On the inaugural day, Myanmar faced Nepal and India faced Iran.

AIFF General Secretary Kushal Das had on Friday said that the tournament is meant to provide additional opportunity to the Indian National team to face other National teams in a competitive format.
