Murder Convict Undergoing Life Term Dies In Odisha’s Cuttack

Cuttack: A murder convict undergoing life imprisonment in Choudwar Circle Jail died today at SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack.

Reportedly, the deceased Subhransu Dash had been lodged in the jail after being convicted in the murder of Keshab Behera, the secretary of Seikh Bazaar Puja Committee, in July 2013.

Subhransu had been admitted to SCB after he complained of chest pain. However, he breathed his last at the hospital.

It may be mentioned here that Keshab had been shot dead on July 7, 2013 by Subhransu and his associates over a dispute on ownership of some shops inside Chandi Mandir.
