Mother Cobra, 25 Hatchlings Rescued From House In Odisha's Jajpur

Jajpur: A mother cobra and her 25 hatchlings were rescued from a house at Duhudisahi under Kanikapada gram panchayat of Jajpur district on Monday.

Reportedly, after noticing some cobra eggs inside the mud wall of his house today morning, the house owner Seshadeb Samal informed the Snake Helpline.

Members of the helpline reached the spot immediately and dug out the cobra and her hatchlings.

Earlier on June 12, another mother cobra and her 24 hatchlings had been rescued from a house at Babusahi of Dihudi Anandpur village under Dhamnagar block of Bhadrak district.
