Monster Father Bangs His Son To Death In Odisha’s Mayurbhanj

03 September 2019

Mayurbhanj: A man repeatedly banged his son to death in a state of furious rage on Tuesday at Labanyadeipur village under Sharat Police limits in the district. The inhumane act has put the entire village in a state of shock.

Earlier today the accused, Madhu Singh Hembram, had an argument with a fellow villager regarding his cattle. Madhu had even threatened to kill him in a fit of rage. Upon returning home, he found his seven-year-old son Sardar Singh Hembram crying. This, somehow, further infuriated him.

With raging anger, Madhu picked up Sardar and banged the innocent child on his home’s floor. His wrath was nowhere close to being quenched; he picked up Sardar and drowned him in village pond. The monstrous father retrieved Sardar from the pond and again banged the child on the pond’s embankment. The child could not survive this ordeal.

At this juncture, a villager did attempt to stop Madhu but received a death threat in return. The accused escaped and threw his son’s dead body in a nearby field. Meanwhile, the eye witness informed others and Police were also informed.

The Sharat Police took Madhu into custody and a probe has been initiated.

Locals informed that Madhu is of violent nature and used to physically abuse his wife too. She had left him some time ago.
