Bhubaneswar: The Commissionerate Police has received around 93 to 95 per cent positive feedback on police response and their conduct under the ‘Mo Sarkar’ initiative, said Twin City Police Commissioner Sudhanshu Sarangi on Monday.
While there may be some lapses in implementation of the initiative the facts differ as many a times things don't seem as they really are, he added.
Sarangi informed that feedback of over 18,000 persons have been received across Odisha till date. It may soon reach to 30,000 conversations which will be a good sample to study the police-public interaction.
He, however, said that the only problem now police is facing is in follow up of a case and there is need to focus on how to increase the effectiveness of police in follow up.
It's just two months and we expect an increase of 20,000 FIRs across the State. Besides, an increase of 20,000 complaints will also be witnessed, added Sarangi.
