MCI Nod To Admission In Four Medical Colleges Of Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The Medical Council of India (MCI) has permitted admissions into four medical colleges of Odisha for the academic year 2019-20, informed Health and Family Welfare Minister Naba Kishore Das on Friday.

Permission have been granted for the admissions into third batch of Pandit Raghunath Murmu Medical College & Hospital in Mayurbhanj district, second batch of Fakir Mohan Medical College & Hospital in Balasore district, third batch of Saheed Laxman Naik Medical College & Hospital in Koraput district and second batch of Bhima Bhoi Medical College & Hospital in Bolangir district.

It was only after inspection of infrastructure of the colleges and other sectors the permission was granted by the MCI for admissions into the various batches. The permission is valid for one year and the colleges have to follow the MCI guidelines to continue admissions into the next batches.
