Maoists Torch Road-Building Equipment In Odisha's Kalahandi

Kalahandi: A group of naxals torched 11 road-building equipment including three tractors and two JCBs at a contractor's camp in Nuamunda village under Madanpur Rampur of Kalahandi district on late Tuesday night.

Reportedly, the rebels had earlier put up posters in the area and attacked the said camp of Arati Infratech Private Limited in protest of road construction in the area.

Earlier on Saturday afternoon Maoists had blew up an under construction CRPF camp at Trilochanpur village under Lanjigarh block of the district.
