Man Killed With Bicycle Spoke Over Pending Payment

Nayagarh: A man was killed after being attacked with a bicycle spoke during an argument over payment of pending dues in Balugaon under Sadar police limits of Nayagarh district on Thursday.

Reportedly, the deceased Pramod Parida of Bodapada village had gone to the house of one Kartik Behera in Balugaon to consume liquor. It was when Kartik asked Pramod to pay back his pending dues an argument ensued.

Later, the situation turned violent and both of them exchanged blows. Irate over it, Kartik took a bicycle spoke and shoved it into the Pramod's nose and eyes.

Pramod was immediately rushed to Nayagarh district headquarters hospital (DHH), where doctors declared him dead. A case in this regard has been registered at Sadar Police Station and probe initiated.
