Jaipatna: A joint team of Railway Protection Force (RPF) Titlagarh, Sambalpur Crime Branch and Special Squad today busted an e-ticketing racket with the arrest of one Mukesh Agrawal alias Micky at Jaipatna of Kalahandi district.

As per officials, Mukesh was accused of booking railway tickets without authorisation. He was reportedly doing business by selling railway e-tickets by booking them through his personal ID. Action was taken against him in accordance with an intensive drive against touts across India.

IIC of Titlagarh RPF, Sushil Kumar Pathak, said, "On direction of the Railway Board, a joint team of Titlagarh RPF, Sambalpur Crime Branch and Special Squad conducted raid at his place and seized various items including 15 live tickets, 39 old tickets, pen drives, a register, one laptop, one printer, ATM cards of different banks, two mobile phones and Rs 41,820 in cash."
