25 Lakh KALIA Beneficiaries Will Get Rs 10,000 On Day-1 Of Our New Govt: Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik

Jeypore (Koraput): Addressing the election campaign at Jeypore Stadium in tribal-dominated Koraput district today, BJD supremo and Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today assured that the very day of the BJD Government formation, the KALIA beneficiaries will definitely be given the pending Rs 10,000 assistance of two installments at one go.

Initiating his public speech, Naveen said, “Farmer has been placed No 1 (top priority) in our agenda. The welfare of the farmers has been made No 1 in the manifesto of Biju Janata Dal (BJD). You all know about KALIA Yojana. 40 lakh farmers have already been benefitted under KALIA Yojana. List has been prepared for 25 lakh more beneficiary farmers.”

“From this sacred soil of Jeypore, I announce the No 1 point of BJD’s manifesto. With your blessings when our government is formed, on the very first day all the farmers will be given away assistance of Rs 10,000 for the two installments at one go,” he averred, adding, “Not a single farmer will be deprived of it, neither today and never.”

Earlier in the day, the regional satrap addressed the election campaign at Kalimela in adjoining Malkangiri. He also held roadshow by the special bus.
