Kovind, Modi, Naveen Pay Tribute To Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose

Bhubaneswar: President Ram Nath Kovind, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik paid their tributes to Subhas Chandra Bose popularly known as Netaji on his 122nd Birth Anniversary today.

"Tributes to Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose on his birth anniversary. He remains one of our most beloved national heroes and an icon of India's freedom struggle. Netaji is cherished, remembered and missed to this day all over the country," tweeted Kovind.

Likewise, Modi through his personal twitter handle stated, "I bow to Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose on his Jayanti. He was a stalwart who committed himself towards ensuring India is free and leads a life of dignity. We are committed to fulfilling his ideals and creating a strong India."

The Prime Minister also shared a video in the tweet where he is seen addressing public about the greatness of Netaji and his mission to free the country from bondage.

Naveen also took to twitter and mentioned Netaji as the true child of Mother India. His strong morale, distinct ideology and spirit of sacrifice for country will continues to inspire the people of our country, he added.

Various other political leaders and dignitaries have also flooded the social media today with tributes for Netaji.
