Know The Odisha Districts Where Heat Wave Condition Is Likely Over Next 3 Days

Bhubaneswar: While nine Stations in Odisha recorded over 40 degrees Celsius on Wednesday with Titlagarh having the highest temperature of 45, the Regional Meteorological Department has already issued warnings for heat wave conditions in several districts of the State over the next three days.

For May 9, 10 and 11, heat wave condition likely to prevail at some areas over the districts of Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Sundargarh, Deogarh, Angul, Bargarh, Sonepur, Boudh, Kalahandi, Bolangir and Nuapada. Yellow warning (be updated) has been issued for all these districts.

The Met has suggested people to avoid heat exposure, as it may cause moderate health concern for infants, elderly and people with chronic diseases.
