Know Details Of Funds Transfer Under ‘KALIA’ Scheme

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today gave away the assured financial assistance under “KALIA” (Krushak Assistance for Livelihood and income Augmentation) Scheme to 12.45 lakh beneficiaries via DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) in the first phase.

The number of beneficiaries' accounts were 12,45,490 out of which the amount was successfully transferred to 12,43,449 accounts as 2041 accounts mismatched. While 5,54,818 beneficiaries hold accounts in State Bank of India (SBI), 6,88,631 beneficiaries have accounts in other banks.

Reportedly, the process for transferring funds to the SBI accounts have been completed out of which the transaction was successful for 5,48,875 (98.92%) accounts and failed for 5,943 (1.08%) accounts.

Likewise, funds transfer has been completed for only 2,05,000 other bank accounts out of which transaction was successful for 2,03,500 (99.27%) accounts and failed for 1500 (0.73%) accounts. The funds transfer for rest 4,83,631 is under process.
