Kandhamal Twins Jaga-Balia Recovering Swiftly After Surgery

Bhubaneswar: After the successful surgery of separation of Kandhamal conjoined twins Jaga-Balia at AIIMS in Delhi, Jaga has shown speedy recovery.

Speaking to the media persons, State Health Minister Pratap Jena informed that Jaga will be discharged from the hospital in a months time.

“Jaga, on his own is able to sit, eat and walk with little external assistance. We are hopeful that doctors will discharge Jaga in 45 days. The formalities are being expirited by the medical team attending the twins,” Jena said.

The minister added that Balia”s health is also progressing well and the doctors have kept a close vigil on his health.
