KALIA Scheme: Odisha Govt Extends Last Date For Application To January 15

Bhubaneswar: After a successful launch of Krushak Assistance for Livelihood and Income Augmentation (KALIA), State Government's flagship scheme for farmers, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday extended the last date for filling applications to January 15, 2019.

The second phase of applications to enroll under the KALIA scheme will be accepted from January 25 to February 5. This was decided at a high level meeting chaired by Naveen, for reviewing the progress of the scheme.

It was decided at the meeting that on the basis requirement, the Government might declare a third phase for enrollment. The Chief Minister directed officials to ensure that not a single farmer of Odisha is deprived of the benefits of KALIA scheme.
