Bhubaneswar: While the East Coast Railway (ECoR) is proud of introducing Summer Special Trains, it seems as if it has ignored the needs of passengers travelling in other trains.

Reportedly on Sunday, few coaches of Balangir - Bhubaneswar Intercity SF Express (12894) had no water running from the taps causing inconvenience to around 80 odd passengers, including women and children.

Despite concerted efforts to contact the ECoR authorities about the issue, there was no response.

When a passenger in D3 coach reported the issue to the TTE on board, F Tigga of ECoR Khurda Railway Division, he informed that water had been filled in Sambalpur and had no answer why there is no water in the coach. However, he advised to use taps and toilets of other coaches if needed.

It is worthwhile to mention that Balangir - Bhubaneswar Intercity SF Express is an important train connecting the capital city with major districts of Western Odisha.
