IMD Predicts More Rain, Thunderstorm In Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Ten districts of the State will experience rains in the next 24 hours due to a cyclonic circulation extending from North Interior Karnataka & adjoining Telangana and a trough extending from north Bihar to Manipur across northern parts of West Bengal and Assam & Meghalaya.

Thunderstorm accompanied with lightning and gusty winds is likely to occur at isolated places in Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Khorda, Cuttack, Nayagarh, Puri, Ganjam, Kendrapara, Jajpur and Kandhamal, informed Duty Officer of Regional Meteorological Centre in Bhubaneswar, Gauranga Charan Behera.

While the maximum temperature in Bhubaneswar today is 35.0 degree Celsius, the highest temperature was 39.4 degree in Malkangiri and lowest 17.0 degree in Titlagarh. The temperature may rise gradually in two to three days, Behera added.
