Bhubaneswar: It seems as if there is no respite from this merciless rain in the winter season as the Odisha Disaster Management Department has issued weather warning in the coming days.

Quoting the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) weather forecast, Odisha Special Relief Commissioner (SRC) in a press note has stated, " under the influence of a low pressure area formed over Bay Of Bengal, low intensity rainfall is likely to be experienced in Koraput, Ganjam and Gajapati on December 7."

"Rainfall of higher intensity in Coastal and adjoining districts on 8th and 9th December," the SRC press note warns.

According to the IMD prediction, " The well marked low pressure area now lying over Southeast Bay Of Bengal and adjoining south Arabian Sea and Equatorial Indian Ocean is very likely to intensify into a depression over southeast Bay Of Bengal and neighbourhood during next 24 hrs and deep depression during the subsequently 48 hrs. It is very likely to move towards North Tamil Nadu South Andhra Pradesh coasts during next 3-4 days.
