Heat Wave Grips Odisha, Talcher Sizzles At 43.1 Degree Celsius

Bhubaneswar: Intense heat wave conditions throws life of gear as temperature soars above 40 degree Celsius at nine places in Odisha.

While maximum temperatures observed no large change over Odisha minimum temperatures observed appreciably rise over North Coastal Odisha.

The highest maximum temperature of 43.1 degree Celsius was recorded at Talcher and the lowest at 32.0 at Paradip.

Titlagarh was the second hottest at 43.0 degree Celsius followed by Angul at 42.7, Bhawanipatna at 42.5, Bolangir at 42.0, Jharsuguda at 40.9, Sonepur at 40.8, Sambalpur at 40.1 and Sundargarh at 40.0.

As per the Bhubaneswar Meteorological Centre, there will be no large change in the maximum temperature for next two days and thereafter it will have a slight decrease for two to three days.
