Gurudwara Death Mystery: Commissionerate Police Still Clueless

Bhubaneswar: Two days after a 25-year-old youth was found hanging under mysterious circumstances in a room inside the Gurudwara complex here in capital city, the Commissionerate Police is yet to ascertain the cause behind his death.

Bhubaneswar DCP Anup Sahoo informed that while a case under Section 302 of Indian Penal Code (IPC) has been registered at the Kharvel Nagar Police Station, the post-mortem report of the youth is awaited.

Besides, scientific team has also collected some evidences from the spot. The actual cause of death will be ascertained after a thorough probe, he added.

It is worthwhile to mention that the youth identified as Subas Nayak, a resident of Harijan basti at Kharvela Nagar area, was working as a caretaker at the Gurudwara for the past 18 months.
