Ganja Worth Rs 3 Cr Trafficked From Odisha Seized In Chhattisgarh, Kingpin Held

Bhubaneswar: A truck carrying two tonnes of ganja worth around Rs 3 crore trafficked from Odisha's Malkangiri was reportedly seized by sleuths of Directorate of Revenue Intelligence's (DRI) Nagpur Regional Unit in Chhattisgarh today.

Acting on a tip off, the DRI officials intercepted the truck in Naxal infested Bastar region of Chhattisgarh and seized the contraband.

Four smugglers including a kingpin wanted by police of three States - Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Odisha - were also arrested by the Nagpur DRI team, sources said.
