Bhubaneswar: Close on the heels of former Congress MLA Naba Kishore Das from Jharsuguda assembly constituency quit the grand old party and joined BJD on January 25, another former Congress MLA Jogesh Singh from Sundargarh assembly constituency is also all set to join BJD.

Jogesh Singh is expected to join BJD tomorrow.

In his reactions, senior BJD MLA and former minister Pushpendra Singhdeo said, “Leaders of different parties are joining BJD keeping trust and reposing faith on the leadership of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik. It means that the general public trust BJD.”

BJP MLA Pradeep Purohit reacted, “Earlier Naba Das had joined BJD and now Jogesh Singh will join. Also many Congress leaders have previously joined BJD. Congress is going to be obliterated in Odisha. Now the electoral battle will be between BJP and BJD in Odisha.”
