Bhubaneswar: Several passengers were reportedly taken ill after eating meals served on board in the Bhubaneswar- New Delhi Rajdhani Express. The incident came to light after one Bidisha Das complained of loose motion today morning.

It was suspected that the uneasiness and stomach ache occurred to the dinner she had consumed on board Saturday night. Soon, other passengers also reported similar health complications.

Bidisha was administered medical care at Gomoh station and later at Bokaro station the other passengers also underwent a check-up, said Debashish Chandra, CGM of IRCTC (Eastern Zone).

"The passengers are stable now and the train is heading towards New Delhi. A thorough inquiry has been ordered and food samples have been collected to investigate the quality of food. If anyone is found guilty, action will be initiated," Chandra added.
