**Bhubaneswar:** At least five Bangladeshi nationals have been arrested on charge of attempting to secure passports by producing fake documents.
Speaking to media persons, Regional Passport Officer Digbijoy Giri, said: “Five Bangladeshi nationals were arrested; four from Mumbai and one from Delhi.”
He also said that 24 passports were revoked in the last one and half and years and lookout circulars were issued against 21 persons for producing fake documents to get passports.
These people are members of a racket who used to produce fake documents for passports despite not being Indians and we got to know about it while checking the documents, Giri added.
It may be recalled here that two Bangladeshi nationals – Sk Mofijul Islam and Md Yusuf Byapari- were arrested on February 13 on charge of attempting to secure passports by producing fake documents in Balasore district.
