Fishing Trawler Capsize In Paradip: One More Rescued

Paradip: One more person was rescued late last night in the case of fishing trawler that capsized yesterday near the Mahanadi mouth in the Bay of Bengal here. Another person’s dead body was found on Wednesday morning.

The incident had occurred at around 3 pm few kilometres away from the Nehru bungalow area. There were five persons in the fishing trawler named Maa Jadua out of which two were rescued immediately.

The fishermen had gone into the deep sea three days ago. On Tuesday, on their way back to the shore, the trawler capsized near the Mahanadi mouth.

A joint team of fishermen, local people and marine police had launched a search and rescue operation. However, search operation of one missing person is still underway.
