Female Elephant Killed On Railway Tracks In Odisha's Dhenkanal

Dhenkanal: Carcass of a female elephant was found near railway tracks at Kaunriapal under Sadar Forest Range in Dhenkanal district on Thursday.

Reportedly, the elephant was crossing the railway tracks when a goods train on its way from Dhenkanal to Angul hit the animal.

Meanwhile, forest department officials have reached the spot and initiated a probe into the incident.
